Lighthouse Claims Consulting was founded by Ryan Wagner with a simple belief: every policyholder deserves the same quality of representation that insurance companies bring to every claim.

Ryan's path to founding Lighthouse began in the construction industry, where he spent years developing a deep, working knowledge of how buildings are built, how damage occurs, and — critically — what it actually costs to fix things right. That foundation would prove invaluable.

Ryan transitioned into the insurance industry and quickly found his footing. He joined the largest public adjusting firm in Minnesota, where he had the opportunity to learn directly from two of the most accomplished people in the industry. The firm's CEO — a highly experienced public adjuster with decades of hands-on claims experience — gave Ryan an unmatched foundation in the practical side of the business. The firm's COO, a highly regarded insurance attorney, taught Ryan how to read policy language precisely, build airtight claims, and negotiate from a position of legal strength. Learning from both gave Ryan a rare combination of street-level expertise and legal precision that most adjusters never develop.

Over his time at the firm, Ryan took on increasingly complex and high-value claims, managing tens of millions of dollars in losses annually and contributing to over $100 million in settled claims across fire, smoke, water, wind, hail, and complex commercial losses.
